Review:
~First, I'd like to thank the author for sending me a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!~
This was definitely a slow-burner, more of a cozy curl-up-by-the-fire read, minus the romance. I could tell it was well written and creatively crafted, but I don't think it wasn't my kind of book. However, I really enjoyed the character's personalities, they were all very kind, which I enjoyed. The ending was also nice, I look forward to the sequel to see how Gavynn and his village turn out :)
Things I Loved:
-It got better towards the end
-The characters were all very kind
Things I Didn't Love:
-It was a bit slow paced at times
In Conclusion:
This was a great book, but I don't think it wasn't for me.
Recommended?:
If you enjoy slow paced, non-violent medieval stories, then this one is for you!
