Background Knowledge: Fern is an ordinary girl living in a big city working a normal job. Except for one thing. She is going crazy. She can see the world of her childhood imaginary hero, Tristan, which no one else can see.

Review: I really loved this book. But, like, can we just take a second to admire that amazing cover! When I first got this book, I was just amazed by it.

Anyway, on to the actual book. Not often is the book as good as the cover, but this time it is. I must say I really loved this novella. It's a nice weekend sweet romance with some good action. Although, the whole "Other world/dimension" thing wasn't always super believable. For example, in the beginning, Fern is in an interrogation with the FBI about her "visions", but I don't think that the FBI would actually believe that type of story. Regardless, it was a great book, and I'll probably re-read this one next year.

Things I Loved:

-I liked the romance in this book. It wasn't like the stereo-typical type of romance where the characters meet, fall in love, and make marriage plans all within the span of two weeks. Fern and Tristan knew each other since Fern was about 7 years old, and in the book she was about 20.

-Sci-fi. I mean, who doesn't love sci-fi?! In this book it was also not stereotypical, which is one of the reasons why I chose to buy this book.

Things I Didn't Love:

-Don't get me wrong, this was an amazing book. But, like mentioned, not all of the inter-dimensional and government involvement stuff was completely believable.

In Conclusion:

I really loved this book, it was a great balance between a sweet romance story and an action-packed novella.
