Review:
~I'd like to thank the author for sending me a free copy in exchange for my honest review!~
It was so fun to read these stories! They were all very well written, and I loved all of them. I also loved that there was the backstory on the characters (Jess, Alex, and the priestess) from Wallace's other book. There were many times in "The Heart of Everything" that past events were referred to, and you didn't know much about it, but here everything is explained.
Even though some of the short stories in this book could technically be characterized as flash fiction, I didn't feel like they were too short, but that's not to say that I wouldn't love to read more about them. XD Also, there were SO many hilarious moments, I just loved it!
In conclusion, I enjoyed this short story collection very much, and I would definitely recommend it to everyone!
Things I Loved:
-The stories were great and well written
-The backstories of some of the characters [from "The Heart of Everything"] were explained
Things I Didn't Love:
-I don't think there's anything I didn't like!
In Conclusion: If you're looking for some fun short stories to read, or if you want a companion to the author's other book, "The Heart of Everything", go pick this one up!
