Review:

~I'd like to thank the author for sending me a free copy in exchange for my honest review!~

Ok, this is definitely something new. A book with a four year old protagonist... that's for a middle grade/YA audience?! Yes! And it was done so well, being very engaging, realistic. Also, it was fun to "hear" the thoughts of cute little Troy XD

The characters in this story really came alive. Even though some of the characters have somewhat stereotypical characteristics, it doesn't feel like it's stereotypical or anything. The ones I remember most, were the ever-absent-always-at-work father; playful, sometimes mean, but in the end caring kind of brothers; and, of course, the curios youngest one. XD

All in all, this was a great prequel, and I can't wait to read the next book in the series!

Recommended for all ages!

Things I Loved:

-Even though the story was told from the POV of a 4 year old, I really enjoyed it

-The characters were very lively and realistic

Things I Didn't Love:

-I really enjoyed this book, but I just felt like it was missing something (like, that little something to make it a five star read, you know?)

In Conclusion:

I liked this book, and I think it is a great addition to its' sequel!
